Preheating and Cooling of Buses – Optimized Comfort and Efficiency with adibus Preconditioning solution

At adibus, we have developed an intelligent solution that ensures the ideal temperature inside buses before departure. Our preconditioning system, integrated with adibusLive, allows bus operators to control the bus's temperature one hour before the journey begins, ensuring optimal passenger comfort from the start of the ride.

How does it work?
The solution is based on a temperature sensor installed inside the bus, connected to the bus's Vehicle Communication Gateway (VCG). The VCG is connected to ITxPT eco mode1, enabling the system to stay active 24/7.

adibusLive automatically reads the bus temperature and assesses whether conditions are right to start heating or cooling. If the temperature drops below 15°C or exceeds 27°C, the system sends a command to the HVAC unit to activate either heating or cooling.

Flexibility and Control for Traffic Management
For added flexibility, the traffic manager can manually remotely start preheating or cooling via adibusLive, giving full control over the bus's comfort.
