Overview of the core elements of adibus InfoDisplays

adibus InfoDisplays is a comprehensive information solution designed for both public outdoor and indoor areas.

adibus outdoor displays come in various models, all specifically designed for outdoor use. They are built to withstand extreme weather conditions, temperature fluctuations, and vandalism.

adibus indoor displays range from 15" to 100" and can be configured even larger, such as in a 2x2 matrix display. These displays are suited for indoor conditions, high-usage environments, and are resistant to vandalism.

The displays can be wall-mounted, built into structures, or delivered as a complete stand-alone solution with an integrated speech module.

Available display technologies include LED, TFT, and E-paper.

Content

Publishing and managing content like traffic information, advertisement, news update etc. Timetables, stop information , announcements etc. are centrally stored and usually delivered from external systems

Server

adibus solutions are hosted centrally and there is no need for locally IT hosting and operations.

Uploads

The distribution and communication with the buses and trains uses the mobile network, securing that the solution is online.

Route selection

Route selection is done in the buses by the driver. Form there on the content on screens and realtime forecasts will run automatically

Real-Time Solution

This solution offers full integration with real-time data from a central system, enabling the display of not only arrival and departure information but also real-time updates on delays and cancellations.

The screens can be divided into distinct areas, with one section showing delays and real-time information, another displaying important messages as running text, and a third featuring the latest product information or various ticketing options.

Content can include web pages, videos, graphics, XML data, templates, and more, with over 25 different content types available.

Additional Functions

Adibus provides an optional CallOut function that can be added to the bottom of the display panel.

This feature enables audible "read-out" of the information shown on the display and verbal announcements for specific departures.

This function is particularly helpful for visually impaired travelers.
